Our response to COVID-19
Museum policies
Museum Practices
Your health and safety are our top priority. Our staff continues to work hard to ensure a safe and FUN visit for your family. In collaboration with an advisory council of scientists, physicians, and public health officials, we have implemented new policies and procedures. Our health and safety standards remain responsive to the current environment and we will continue to monitor information from our local and state health departments, as well as the CDC.
Masks Requirement
Frequent Cleaning
Social Distancing
Staff are required to wear masks at all times and have daily temperature checks prior to their start times. If staff members show any sign of symptoms, they are asked to return when they have fully recovered and are no longer contagious.
Cleaning protocols include frequent disinfecting of all high-touch surfaces with child-safe, non toxic cleaning solutions. We have positioned hand sanitizing stations throughout the museum.
Guests and staff are encouraged to practice social distancing. We recommend that all visitors remain 6 feet apart to ensure guests safety while playing.
Preparing For Your Safe Visit
-
All unvaccinated guests, adults and children above the age of 2 are required to wear a proper face covering. Vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a face covering, but it is highly recommended.
-
For certain individuals (special needs, autism, etc.), requests must be made with a supervisor in advance.
-
Face coverings should properly be worn. Bandanas, scarves, neck gaiters, and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings. A face shield can be worn with a face mask, but not in place of one.
-
Medical exemptions will not be accepted.
-
If a guest fails to comply, they will be asked to leave the premises, and refunds will not be issued.
-
Stay home if you are feeling any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have been in recent contact with someone who has had symptoms of COVID-19. For the full list of symptoms of COVID-19, please visit the CDC website.
-
If you wish to not adhere to the policies set forth, we respectfully ask and recommend for you to wait until local, state, and federal mandates are lifted for the safety of our guests.
