Field Trips at KiDS

Our Field Trips are designed to spark children’s curiosity and imagination, and to provide them with hands-on inquiry-based learning experiences that reinforce their school curriculum.

In between our hands-on lessons, kids get to free play in the museum developing close bonds with their classmates while exploring new places

About Our Field Trips

Guided Field Trips

Guided field trips are a mix of guided educational activities and guided museum exploration.

  • Educational activities are CA state standard and NGSS-aligned.

  • Activities geared for grade levels PK-4th.

  • Students can engage in pretend play with peers and staff.

  • 50 students maximum per field trip visit.

  • Trips can be booked Tuesday - Friday.

  • Groups are allotted 2 hrs for their visit.

  • Group size and visit time can be accommodated by request.

  • Per teacher request, lessons and activities can be created to supplement classroom learning.

  • $300 for every 25 students.

Free Play Field Trips

On a Free Play field trip, students explore the museum’s various STEAM-themed exhibits and amenities.

  • Museum Staff guide students through the museum.

  • Students can engage in pretend play with peers and staff.

  • 50 students maximum per field trip visit.

  • Trips can be booked Tuesday - Friday.

  • Groups are allotted 2 hrs for their visit.

  • Group size and visit time can be accommodated by request.

  • $300 for every 25 students.
